ProCare Therapy is working with a school district in Pleasantville, NY that is in need of a certified special education teacher for the spring semester + summer session. This position will be working with a high school caseload, teaching math. It will be a contracted through ProCare Therapy, will be a full time position with an immediate start date and will be contracted through the summer session until August. This position will also offer the opportunity to renew for the 24-25 school year. The district is actively conducting interviews and is looking for someone who is comfortable and experienced teaching math. An active special education certification is required for this position. New grads are welcome! This position will offer competitive hourly pay, starting at $34/hour and healthcare benefits. Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience. Qualifications:
- Degree required
- Active special education teaching certification required
- In schools experience preferred
- Fingerprinting, drug screen & background check will be required of all candidates
- Special education experience required
- Interest in schools and education preferred
